A Letter to My Son on His Third Birthday

My Sweet Widdy,
Today you are three and oh how you’ve grown! I cannot get my head around the fact that it’s been three years since you came into our lives.
Your personality shines through more and more every day.  And oh how I love that personality.  I hope one day you can see yourself through my eyes. Simply put, the world is a better place because you are in it.

I am in awe of the tiny human you are becoming. Your imagination has no limits. Sometimes we are running away too far away galaxies of dinosaurs and pretty princesses. 🤣 Some days you make us hide from aliens and be quiet around the giant octopuses.  Every day is a new adventure.

You light up any room you enter. You spread such joy to those who know you. Your laugh is contagious. You are starting to tell “tunny jokes.” Your sissy thinks every single one is hilarious. She is your biggest fan.
How has it been 3 years?
As much as I miss the days that have passed, I am loving the moments now. Especially when you say “I love you, mom” and throw those little arms around my neck. Heart melting.

I am excited to see what lies ahead for you this year.  I have big dreams for you my son and can’t wait to hear what your dreams are as you mature.

Have fun.  Play hard.  Stay sweet.

All my love,
Mom aka Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom
